The Idea to Product ® Global Competition

New Technology Opportunities | Developing Technology Entrepreneurs | Starting New "Ventures."

The I2P® Global Competition is an early-stage technology commercialization plan competition hosted by the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. At I2P® Global, invited universities from Asia, Europe, Africa, North and Latin America compete for cash prizes and a chance to enter the Texas Venture Labs Investment Competition (formerly the MOOTCORP® Competition). Participants benefit from valuable feedback from the entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, engineers, and service providers on the judging panels. Competition entries should be unique and innovative, be feasible to implement, and address an identified market need, and they must have an underlying technology component.

“The Idea to Product Competition has been a great opportunity to showcase [my teammate’s invention]. It’s also helped us to learn from the judges’ experience and their advice…It’s been a great learning opportunity, very exciting.”--Tim Shippy, Georgia Institute of Technology, 2003 I2P® Global Competitor.
