Creating new technology opportunities
Developing technology entrepreneurs
Starting new "ventures."
The I2P® Global Competition is an early-stage technology commercialization plan competition hosted by the Murchison Chair of Free Enterprise at The University of Texas at Austin. At I2P® Global, invited universities from Asia, Europe, and North America compete for $25,000 in prizes and a chance to enter the Global MOOTCORP® competition. Participants benefit from valuable feedback from the entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, engineers, and intellectual property attorneys on the judging panels. Competition entries sionalhould be unique and innovative, be feasible to implement, and address an identified market need, and they must have an underlying technology component.
“The Idea to Product Competition has been a great opportunity to showcase [my teammate’s invention]. It’s also helped us to learn from the judges’ experience and their advice…It’s been a great learning opportunity, very exciting.”--Tim Shippy, Georgia Institute of Technology, 2003 I2P® Global Competitor
