The product can be used to rapidly screen chemical reactions for enantiomeric excess, which helps accelerate drug discovery. The technology is an indicator- displacement assay (IDA). It utilizes a chemical sensing ensemble composed of a receptor and a colorimetric indicator that, when used with a commercially available spectrophotometer and software, can be used in automated fashion to rapidly determine enantiomeric excess for reaction mixtures.

Our product is a consistent supply of enriched 157Gd isotope by means of Magnetically Guided Isotope Separation to increase nuclear reactor efficiency and safety. Magnetically Guided Isotope Separation (MaGIS) is able to give specific isotopes a unique magnetic moment and subsequently separate them by means of a magnetic field, creating a capability to isolate nearly any stable isotope within the periodic table.

Our product provides faster, more reliable transmission of data over existing fiber-optic infrastructure as well as extended ranges of multimode fiber for future layout.Our technology is a fiber-optic communication system that connects a transmit and receiving device with a multimode fiber. Utilizing digital signal processing and dispersion compensation, the communication system provides a 10-15x greater data rate and a 10x increase in the usable range of multimode fiber.

While health clubs provide members with a means for exercise, they lack a system that can accurately assess and monitor physical progress. The Body Browser (hereinafter “TBB”) is a whole body imaging system that acquires the 3D surface model and dimensions of a human body using non-contact optical devices and stereo vision technology. It will revolutionize the fitness industry by allowing patrons to accurately track their physique and design their workouts around the needs their body type’s demand. The system combines “off the shelf” parts, such as cameras and projectors, with proprietary software to capture the body images, calculate 3D coordinates of the body surface, extract body measurements, and create a 3D model of the scanned body. The measurements are then used to calculate relevant body-dimension data, such as body mass index, waist to hip ratio, body fat percentage, and obesity class.

Betalain Freshness Indicator is a colorimetric indicator which reveals the remaining life of food and herbal products while adding pigmentation and antioxidant. This color change may be compared to a color chart included in packaging for evaluation of depletion of a preservative in the product. The technology, an innovative and all natural Freshness Indicator, is comprised of organic pigments called “Betalain” that has the ability to indicate the freshness of a product by measuring the progression of oxidative degradation with a distinct color change. Betalain is unique as it is able to detect such harmful externalities as oxygen penetration, radiation, light and heat, bacterial, fungicidal and other non-bacterial spoilage. The pigment can be easily incorporated in small sachets and paper strips as well as integrated into the storage device using existing manufacturing techniques. In addition, Betalain can also be used with liquid food products by mixing the pigment solution with a soluble drink.

The goal is for it to be affordable to everyone in need of a little electricity and for it to work in just about any location on the planet. 12W to 25W of power for around $50 to $75.

It combines the precise cutting of femtosecond lasers, the advanced imaging capabilities of optical coherence tomography (OCT), and the subsurface targeting capability of tissue clearing to deliver a disruptive medical treatment platform. The FemtoSurg platform is capable of precisely targeting in three dimensions subsurface structures for removal without the problems of thermally induced collateral damage experienced with standard medical lasers. Thus, rather than drilling through multiple layers of non-target tissue; the FemtoSurg platform removes top layer tissues without breaking the skin.

Laser Clear is an implantable microchip drug delivery device that can be loaded with individual doses of a liquid medicine. The doses would be arranged in wells in a grid format to optimally incorporate at least 12 total doses. Once implanted in a patient, a physician is able to release one dose at a time by using a Q-switched laser, which is common to most ophthalmologists’ offices.

MedMa provides easy-to-use medication administration (MA) software intended to 1) help care providers eliminate the 1.5 million MA errors that occur each year in the U.S. and 2) dramatically decrease the mount of time now used to conduct this process manually. MA software is used at the point-of-care by providers to ensure they give the right drug and dosage to the right patient at the right time, through the right means. MedMa will target underserved markets, dramatically reducing the cost of MA software by delivering it through software-as-a-service (SaaS) business model.

Due to the intricacy of the operating fields in neurosurgical procedures, technologies are needed that provide surgeons with increasingly accurate tissue ablation and visualization methods, while minimizing harmful impact to other critical parts of the brain. Neuro‐Fem aims to provide neurosurgeons with more accurate, 3‐Dimage‐guided, laser surgical instruments. Neuro‐Fem combines two proven technologies‐‐a femtosecond laser that precisely ablates biological tissue, and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT), which gives real‐time, three‐dimensional imaging of the tissue being worked on. Dr. Joseph Neev and Dr. Thomas Milner invented the Neuro‐Fem technology, and both have extensive experience in inventing and commercializing laser medicale quipment.

Such an engine would be based on a patent-pending technology that is already in set in place for commercialization. We would essentially be licensing the technology for its use on our website. This web-based engine would be based on products that sellers upload to the website. We expect our initial customers to be shoppers who are familiar with the online bidding mechanism but are ready to optimize their shopping experience. For our customers, our service would handle all of the bidding-related functionality. This involves handling all the functionality, such as the computation of the pricing and allocation as new unit-demand bids are received.

CutieQueue (hereafter referred to as QTQ) is an innovative way for mothers to save money on baby clothing. Specifically, it is a clothing rental service for parents of newborns that supplies baby clothes for a short period of time. Parents sign up for a monthly service, and may view the catalogue of available clothing online. Once they have subscribed, the parent may then pick what clothes they want to rent, and add clothes to their “queue”. A certain number of clothes can be rented at a time. QTQ ships the baby clothes to the parents’ door, and all shipping costs are included in the monthly fee.When the baby has outgrown the set of clothes (typically after 3 months), the parent ships the clothes back to the company using prepaid shipping labels. The next set of clothes in the queue is then delivered. All returned clothes are sanitized and returned to the catalogue for use by the next renter. It is important to note that a parent may ask for clothes in advance. Then when the infant out-grows their current set, QTQ is ready to ship out a new set of clothing so that the child never goes without fashionable, comfortable and high-quality clothing.
